The Agenda and Meeting Materials for the Public Workshop & Regular Meeting of the Port Commission on July 9 have been posted. The Port Commission has two meetings scheduled for Wednesday, July 9.
The 9:30 a.m. workshop agenda topics are a Strategic Plan Review Committee Report, Economic Development Discussion, and Public Comment.
At 1:00 p.m., meeting topics on the Consent Agenda are approval of Business Meeting Minutes, Approval of Warrants, Review and Approval of Draft 2026 Budget Schedule and Process, and Authorization for the Executive Director to award the contract for the Pavement Preservation Project at JCIA to C.R. Contracting, for the contract price of $509,899.03 (i.e., award of the Base Bid schedule as well as Additive Bid Schedules A, B, C, and D) contingent upon receipt of FAA grant (AIP No. 3-53-0134-026-2025) in the amount of $585,519.71.
There will be a Second Reading on Resolution 846-25 Concerning a Ballot Measure Proposing to Lengthen Port Commissioner Terms to Six Years.
Under Regular Business are: May 2025 Year to Date Financial Report, a Harbormaster Report, and a Resolution 849-25 Adopting an Updated Strategic Plan for the Port of Port Townsend
