Customer Service Representative
The Port of Port Townsend is seeking qualified candidates for this position. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) reports to the Harbormaster and is responsible for customer service duties at the port’s marinas and boat yard.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, college degree preferred; a minimum of 2-years’ experience in customer service and cash handling. Knowledge of MS software is necessary, and knowledge of the Port’s facilities, boating and related maritime activities is a plus.
This is a fulltime, represented position with a starting pay range of $24.13 – $25.60 per hour (DOE/DOQ), with full benefits. Full time weekly schedule will include weekends and occasional over-time.

Quilcene Marina Host
The Port is seeking a qualified volunteer candidate for this position who enjoys working with the public. The Host reports to the Harbormaster and is responsible to provide customer service after normal business hours, while assisting the Port’s Quilcene Facility Attendant with general maintenance. The Marina Host is a liveaboard and is expected to provide their own vessel (Max 40’ length, 13’ beam, 6’ draft, smaller preferred) suitable for living aboard (i.e., marine head with holding tank, fire extinguisher, meets USCG requirements for recreational boats), current vessel registration and proof of insurance. Moorage fees, electricity (20/30 amp), water, pump-out station, and garbage are free in exchange for this volunteer position.
The ideal candidate with have a high school diploma or GED, college degree preferred; a minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, understanding and comfort with boats and related maritime activities. The Marina Hosts is expected to perform a minimum of 10 hours of service each week and is expected to work five (5) days per week, specifically, Thursday through Monday, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Host must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check. The Port would like at least a 6 month commitment, though longer term is available if performance is positive.
