JOB POSTINGS:
Maintenance Technician II 

The Port of Port Townsend is seeking one (1) qualified candidate for this position.  The Maint. Tech. II is a member of and works with the maintenance team in repairs, construction, and replacement, both for operations and administration. 

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 3-years progressively experienced in maintaining offices and/or public facilities, as well as capital work; experience working on or near water is a plus.

This is a full-time, represented position with a starting pay range of $28.42-$30.15 per hour (DOE/DOQ), full grade pay range goes up to $38.20.  Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, 2 weeks/year paid vacation, 96 hours/year sick leave, and 13 paid holidays/year (which includes two personal days).  There may be occasional over-time and/or call-out time.

Customer Service Representative

The Port of Port Townsend is seeking qualified candidates for this position.  The Customer Service Representative (CSR) reports to the Harbormaster and is responsible for customer service duties at the port’s marinas and boat yard.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, college degree preferred; a minimum of 2-years’ experience in customer service and cash handling. Knowledge of MS software is necessary, and knowledge of the Port’s facilities, boating and related maritime activities is a plus.

This is a full-time, represented position with a starting pay range of $25.34 to $26.88 per hour (DOE/DOQ), full pay ranges tops at $34.05. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 2 weeks/year paid vacation, 96 hours/year paid sick leave, and 13 paid holidays (which includes two personal days). Full time weekly schedule will include weekends and occasional over-time.

Custodian

Join the dynamic team at the Port of Port Townsend! We are seeking qualified candidates for a Custodian position.  The Custodian is a member of the maintenance team and is responsible for maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of Port public bathrooms and offices, both for operations and administration.  This position must report any safety, maintenance or repair issues identified while performing daily duties.  The goal is to keep our buildings in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2-years’ experience performing custodial work at offices and/or public facilities.  Preferable to have CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen Handling training, but if not will be trained and certified after hire.

This is a fulltime, represented position with a starting pay range of $23.59 to $25.03 per hour (DOE/DOQ), full pay range tops at $31.71.  Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 2 weeks/year paid vacation, 96 hours/year paid sick, and 13 paid holidays/year (which includes two personal days).  Position requires working weekends, and there may be occasional over-time
