JOB POSTINGS:
Temporary Moorage Clerk 

The Port of Port Townsend is seeking qualified candidate for this position.  The Summer Temporary Moorage staff work for, approximately April/May through October.  They report to the Harbormaster and are responsible for customer service duties at the port’s marinas and boat yard.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and cash handling. Knowledge of MS software is necessary, and knowledge of the Port’s facilities, boating and related maritime activities is a plus.  A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

This is a seasonal full-time or part-time, non-represented position with a starting pay range of $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (DOE/DOQ).  This is a full-time schedule that includes weekends with occasional over-time at time and a ½ pay.  There is holiday pay for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, if worked.  No other benefits except for accrual of the WA State Paid Family Medical Leave where one (1) hour of sick leave is accrued for every 40 hours of work performed.
