The Agenda and Meeting Materials for the Regular Business Meeting of the Port Commission on October 22 has been posted. At 5:30 p.m., the primary items on the agenda are Public Hearings on the Draft 2026 Operating and Capital Budget, Property Tax Levy and IDD Tax Levy as well as a Public Hearing on Resolution 861-25 Amending the Port of Port Townsend’s Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements to Incorporate the Capital Projects Described in the 2026 Operating & Capital Budget. Regular business items include a Resolution to Establish a Property Tax Reserve Fund, Authorizing the Executive Director to use $1,600,000 of Operational Reserves to pay off the 2010B LTGO debt in full no later than January 31, 2026, and Discussing a Short Farm Silent Flight Proposal.
