The Port of Port Townsend has launched a new hazardous material reuse program in the Boat Haven and invites you to use this service during your stay in the boatyard.
Products such as unused paint, varnish, solvents, thinners and cleaning products can now be placed in the bright yellow product reuse cabinet the Port has installed in the shelter opposite the Yard office (see photo). Ask any Port employee for directions.
By placing your unused products in this cabinet for others to use, together we can lower the cost for vessel maintenance and keep the boatyard cleaner at the same time.
Materials should be in their original containers with labels clearly readable. Thank you for using this new service.
