The pavement preservation project at JCIA originally slated for the Fall of 2025, is scheduled to take place during the week of June 15 to June 20, 2026.
There will be several partial closures to facilitate construction work which will temporarily prevent access to hangars. No runway closures are anticipated for this work. The Port of PT appreciates your patience while this important pavement preservation is completed.
First, beginning Monday, June 15 at 8:00 AM to Wednesday, June 17 at 12:00 PM, the first partial closure will occur. Closed will be the eastern half of both the apron and parallel Taxiway A, and a full closure of Taxiway B, Taxiway A3, Taxiway A4, and Taxilanes 1, 2, and 2A (see the figure below for closure locations). The partial closure of Taxiway A will require back-taxi operations to reach the Runway 27 threshold. This closure is scheduled to end Wednesday around noon with opening all of the above-mentioned facilities for use.
Second, beginning Wednesday, June 17, at 12:00 PM, to Saturday, June 20, at 10:00 AM, the second partial closure will occur. Closed will be the western half of both the apron and parallel Taxiway A, and a full closure of Taxiway A1, A2, Taxiway C and the hangar taxilanes located west of Taxiway C (see the figures below for the closure locations). The partial closure of Taxiway A will require back-taxi operations to reach the Runway 9 threshold. This closure is scheduled to end Saturday with opening of all above mentioned facilities available for use.
