The Agenda and Meeting Materials for the Public Workshop & Regular Meeting of the Port Commission on November 8, 2023, have been posted. The Port Commission has two meetings scheduled for Wednesday, November 8.
The 9:30 a.m. workshop agenda items are: Discussion of the JCIA Eco-Industrial Park 2011 Feasibility Study, Commission Roundtable, and Discussion of the Washington Public Ports Association, Governance and Management Guide – Chapter 9 Purchasing and Contracting.
At 1:00 p.m., meeting topics include: A continued Public Hearing on the Draft 2024 Operating & Capital Budget, rates, property tax levy and IDD tax levy and a Public Hearing on a Resolution 804-23 Amending the Port of Port Townsend’s Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements to Incorporate the Acquisition of the Short’s Family Farm and the Capital Projects Described in the 2024 Operating & Capital Budget. Additional Topics are as follows: Authorization for the Sale of Vessels (Life’s Dream, Wendy, and Silver Linings), Resolution Authorizing Executive Director to file a Sub-Application for a Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Program Grant for the Sea-Level Rise Project, Authorization to Execute Amendment #1 for the Point Hudson Breakwater Replacement Project with Mott MacDonald for $44,210, Resolution 806-23 Authorizing Application for PIF Grant for Design/Engineering Phase of JCIA Eco Industrial Park, Quarter 3, 2023 IDD Levy Project Funding Report, Point Hudson Jetty Project Update, and Jefferson County International Airport (JCIA) A3 Taxiway Connector Project Update.
