JCIA Runway Meeting – Saturday, April 7, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Please join the Port as we provide an update on the status of the JCIA Runway Rehabilitation project, receive your input, and answer your questions.
Shannon Kinsella of Reid Middleton Engineers will present information on the engineering work completed to date, key findings and conclusions, and the remaining engineering work prior to construction (anticipated in 2019).
Gary Lanthrum of the Jefferson County Pilots Association (JCPA), and Warren Hendrickson (invited, awaiting confirmation) of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), will provide pilot perspectives on the project and how best to mitigate impacts to airport users.
The meeting will include time for those in attendance to identify and discuss concerns and provide suggestions as to how to minimize impacts from future construction. A detailed agenda can be found here.
