JCIA RUNWAY MEETING
December 18, 2018
Please join the Port as we provide an update on the status of the JCIA Runway Rehabilitation
project, receive your input, and answer your questions.
Shannon Kinsella, an engineer from Reid Middleton, will present information on the engineering work
completed to date, key design issues, the formal request submitted to the FAA to allow use of the
parallel taxiway as a temporary runway during construction, and the remaining engineering work
prior to construction (still anticipated to occur in 2019).
The meeting will include time for those in attendance to identify and discuss concerns and provide
suggestions as to how to achieve a successful project and minimize impacts to airport users.
