Port and PUD Staff Presentations on Projects Planned for the Herb Beck Marina and the PUD’s Rural Broadband Project.  Specific topics will include:

• Port Staff Update – Boat Ramp Replacement Project (and related improvements)
• Port Staff Update – Marina Entrance Channel Dredging Project
• PUD Staff Update – Fiber Project to Build a Rural Broadband Network
• Re-establishing the small RV campground at the Herb Beck Marina in collaboration with the PUD

This informal meeting with Port staff will be held in-person at the Quilcene Community Center.  There will be no meeting access via Zoom or phone.

Please join us at the Quilcene Community Center at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30 to continue our conversation. The meeting provides an opportunity to share some great news regarding State (RCO) funding for the Boat Launch replacement project and related parking, restroom, and site improvements.  It will also provide a chance for Jefferson County PUD staff to share exciting news about building a rural broadband network to serve Quilcene, Discovery Bay, Gardiner and Chimacum, and how that project can help to “fast track” re-establishment of the RV campground at the Herb Beck Marina.
