All-Day Runway Closure

THE RUNWAY AT JEFFERSON COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WILL BE CLOSED ALL-DAY TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2017. This closure is a result of geotechnical and environmental fieldwork in support of Phase I of the JCIA Runway Rehabilitation Project.
Phase I of this FAA supported project involves pre-design, environmental review, preparation of an obstacle action plan, and 60% engineering design. It does not include final engineering or construction, which is currently scheduled for 2019.
