Jefferson County International Airport
There will be a survey crew from Reid Middleton Engineers working at the Jefferson County International Airport (JCIA) from Monday, July 17 to Thursday, July 20, 2017. The topographic survey work is being conducted by Reid Middleton in support of Phase I of the JCIA Runway Rehabilitation Project. The area to be surveyed will extend approximately 300 feet from the edge of the runway pavement in all directions.
Phase I of the project involves pre-design, environmental review, preparation of an obstacle action plan, and 60% engineering design. It does not include final engineering or construction, which is currently scheduled for 2019.
