DESCRIPTION:Notice of Possible Quorum\nof the Port of Port Townsend Commission\nThis meeting will only be accessible remotely\, as per Governor’s Proclamation 20-28. \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a quorum of the Port Commission of the Port of Port Townsend may be present at the following event\, but no Port business will be done.  The purpose of this meeting: \nInformation Sessions on Running for Office\nSponsored by the Jefferson County League of Women Voters\nTuesday\, March 2\, 2021\, beginning at 2:30 p.m.  \nJoin Zoom Meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82017363138\nFor further information: \nAngela Gyurko\, President\nLeague of Women Voters\, Jefferson County \nThree Upcoming Information Sessions on Running for Office\nSponsored by the Jefferson County League of Women Voters \n On March 2nd and March 5th\,  the Jefferson County League of Women Voters (LWVJC) will present a series of Informational Interviews with county office holders on the day-to-day process of running for office and serving in office. All interviews will be broadcast live on zoom and archived online in video and print form as tools to support prospective candidates for public office. \nLinks to watch the live zooms are available on the LWVJC website: https://lwvwa.org/Jefferson/\, and the archived zoom sessions and transcripts will be loaded to this same website after the live sessions are complete. \nThe first session on March 2 at 2:30 pm will focus on the Port of Port Townsend Port Commissioners.\nJoin Zoom Meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82017363138\nThe second session on March 5 at 11:00 am will focus on School Board Elections\, with representatives from Port Townsend and Chimacum.\nJoin Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82841806956 \nThe final session on March 5 at [4:00 pm – waiting to confirm] will focus on Port Townsend City Council. \nDuring each information session\, office holders will discuss why they ran for office\, how they planned and ran their campaigns\, and how they budgeted for campaign costs. They will also discuss their official duties and the time they require\, and offer advice for prospective candidates.
