The contractor has completed a majority of work, and is expected to finish the final boring sometime today, September 20.
Ingress and egress will no longer be impacted by this process.

Due to core sampling of the Point Hudson Jetty, ingress and egress into the Point Hudson Marina via water will be blocked for extended periods of time during the evening and overnight hours of September 19-21, 2017. Impacts from this work, including noise, light and glare are anticipated to be minimal.

A 120’ by 40’ barge with a rotary augur will be conducting subsurface investigative borings at the marina entrance to determine subsurface soil conditions.
