To all Bidders for the Port of Port Townsend Boat Ramp Expansion Project: (click to be directed to web page with detailed information)
The Port of Port Townsend is accepting bids on a project to expand the existing boat ramp at its Boat Haven Facility. A Shoreline Substantial Development Permit (SDP) has been applied for. All required State and Federal permits have also been obtained. These permits are included in the information package available for your review. However, because engineering will need to be provided, City construction permits have not yet been obtained and will be the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor should pay careful attention to the previously obtained State and Federal permits, as they contain specific conditions that must be fulfilled. All testing and inspection requirements will be arranged and paid for by the Port.
Bids for the engineering and construction of the new ramp must be lump sum. Engineering and construction of the ramp expansion must be completed prior to the closing of the “fish window” on February 15, 2016.
Following the award, the successful bidder/contractor must provide the Port with a detailed schedule of prices. This schedule must be provided within ten (10) days of the award, along with other requested documents.
